Which German document needs an apostille?
A German Birth Certificate is often needed for private, family or administrative procedures abroad.
Not every version of a Birth Certificate is equally suitable for every foreign procedure. Depending on the destination country and the intended use, a recently issued, officially issued or special version may be required.
For multilingual Birth Certificates, requirements may differ depending on the country and procedure. Some authorities accept certain multilingual forms without an apostille, while others still require an apostille or additional documents. We review the order based on the information you provide.
